DRESS Urban Outfitters / JACKET H&M, no longer available, but similar here and here / BAG H&M / BOOTS ASOS, similar here

I came across this fun, flirty little skater dress on a random trip to Urban Outfitters a couple weeks ago. It's so effortless and like a blank slate, can be manipulated in so many different ways. I loved pairing it with this bomber and chelsea boots for an edgier look. Also dressed it up last month in Vegas, instagrammed here, with a chunky statement necklace from Zara. The dress comes in like a billion different colors, and since I loved the fit so much, I also snagged it in this short sleeve floral pattern.

If you're anything like me, you might feel the need to buy yourself an entirely new wardrobe every time the seasons change. This is a problem (first step: admitting it?). Instead, it might be better on your wallet and your closet to revive your existing classics with one bold new piece. I was attracted to the cool blue funky floral pattern of this bomber in H&M, and paired it with an easy mix of chic classics: a chambray button down, skinny jeans, and pointed heels. If the bomber is too funky for you, try this outfit with a more classic cut floral blazer- two of my favorites here- from Zara & J Crew

Boyfriend Jeans

LEATHER JACKET Zara / JEANS J Crew, really similar here / SILK CAMI Aritzia, here / HEELS Target, unfortunately sold out, but still on ebay, here / SUNNIES  Forever 21 / BAG H&M

These J Crew boyfriend fit jeans were buried in the depths of my jean drawer for over a year - taken with me to San Francisco, back to New York, and worn just once. I admit bf jeans are a tough trend to rock. Giving up your naturally feminine shape for a more laid-back slouchy style is not always the most appealing. Pairing them with a structured jacket and strappy heeled sandals, however - game. changer. The structured jacket is a necessary contrast to the jeans, and the heels are just so sexy. I've been seeing jackets and heeled sandals everywhere lately, and just can't get enough. A couple of my favorites: these color blocked Zara heeled sandals - just bought them in black!; these Steve Madden heeled sandals - they come in so many fun colors; and this H&M biker style jacket

What do you guys think- have you given bf jeans a try?

I was looking for the last time I posted about this sweater on the blog, and turns out it was this same day one year ago! Love coincidences like that! Also love wearing these gold heels with distressed denim jeans for a casual and fun spring look.
