Heeled Combat Boots

Sweater: LF, Leather leggings: H&M, Bag: Mango, Boots: Urban Outfitters, Ray Ban Sunnies

I bought these from Urban Outfitters, on one of those rare occasions that you see a pair of shoes you love and they happen to only have one pair, and it's your size, and they were only $30! It makes up for all those times that the only size they are missing happens to be yours! After I did my happy dance a couple times, one of the girls working at the store said that the shoe was a unique online return. I considered it my lucky day and bought a lottery ticket immediately after leaving the store. Fine, I didn't, but I should've!.. I've had these for a couple weeks, and while I'm still contemplating the "perfect" way to style them, I've found that they've become my go-to weekend shoe- paired with a knit sweater & leather leggings. (I originally wanted to include the link to the boots, but I can't seem to find them online anymore! Sorry about that!) Oh, and I bought this sweater at the LF 60% sale! If you guys have one near you, you should definitely check it out. It's fully stocked with some awesome slouchy knit sweaters and fun tribal prints!

I hope you guys had a great weekend! Thanks so much for reading!

Knotted Ring

I bought this ring recently while shopping in the Haight, from a small shop that had some fun and quirky jewelry (I forgot the name of the shop & this is the best description I've got, haha). Like too many of my other purchases, it was quickly buried in my clutter-filled life. I managed to come across it earlier today while getting ready, and am loving the way it looks with Essie's Mod Squad on my nails. The antiqued gold is a wonderful contrast to the vibrant, pink polish.

In other news, my recently manicured nails are chipping way too swiftly! Anyone know of a good top coat that can help protect my nails? Hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading!

Neutral Maxi

I bought this maxi skirt from American Apparel a while ago, but found it a little hard to wear since it's completely see through (don't get too excited, I'm wearing leggings under it in these pictures =P). Although I love the idea of pairing a neutral skirt with a neon (yellow?) colored top, I couldn't resist pairing it with this white lace top for a more feminine, neutral look.. surprise, surprise :) I'd also been eyeing these Steve Madden heels for a while, and finally stumbled upon them at an outlet for $40. Their five inch heel may discourage me from wearing them often, but I know the times that I do will be rewarding enough! Anddd the Ann Taylor necklace makes an appearance, once again. My blog is turning into a tribute to this necklace, lol.

My finger nail polish doesn't match my toe nails.. is that considered a sin? How would you guys wear a neutral maxi skirt? Thanks so much for stopping by & reading!

Makeup Purchases

MUFE Full Coverage Concealer, Benefit's Erase Paste & Bella Bamba Blush

Full Coverage Concealer- I had been on the hunt for a concealer that would provide quality coverage comprable to a foundation.  After trying on the MUFE Full Coverage Concealer (in Golden Beige) at Sephora and seeing how easily it blended and matched my skin tone, I was sold. The consistency is a good balance between thick and thin, ideal for covering red spots. There are 12 shades available at Sephora, so the probability of finding one that will match your skin tone is high. At $30 for one tube, it's definitely not the cheapest concealer on the market, but I will most likely repurchase since concealer is not a beauty product I generally enjoy hunting for.
Benefit's Erase Paste
Erase Paste- After previously coming across several reviews of Benefit's Erase Paste, I was already armed with the knowledge that Erase Paste is best used to cover dark circles under the eyes. Knowing this, I was able to appreciate the paste-like texture. Since I've been using this under my eyes in combination with the MUFE concealer for spots, my foundation has really taken a back seat.

Bella Bamba- Ok, this blush purchase may have been a little unnecessary. But I have no regrets! It's a beautiful pink with a hint of gold undertones. While the color may not be completely unique and can be easily duped, I love that the blush can be layered for a more dramatic pink.

Have you guys tried any of these products before? Hope you all had a great weekend!

Thanks & A Giveaway! - CLOSED

I started my blog in hopes that it would function as a creative outlet- a place where I would be able to openly share my thoughts, ideas, and other girly ramblings. I didn't anticipate how big of a role the blogging community would play in my life, and so I wanted to thank you guys by hosting a giveaway!  I'll be giving away two of my favorite products at the moment: the NARS blush, Torrid, and an OPI nail polish, Don't Be Eggnogious. NARS describes Torrid as a warm coral with golden shimmer, which I completely agree with...
I have been seriously obsessed with this bronze glitter polish by OPI- wearing it alone, one layer or three, or over a nude polish, or as an accent nail!

Fine Arts

Sweater: The Limited, Jeans: Forever 21, Bag: Aldo, Heels: Ralph Lauren, Jacket: Gap (old)

These pictures were taken at the Palace of Fine Arts by my good friend, Stef, when she came to visit last weekend! We took a long walk, shopped in the Haight - which is now my favorite neighborhood to shop at!, and had an awesome dinner at the nearby Citrus Club. Thanks Stef for visiting and for taking these pictures!

Hope you all are doing well!
